GeoCodeLOS   --    $450

Evaluate LOS / NLOS status between Master List links and a Remote location. Display up to 5 path profiles at a time.

Main Screen View

GeoCode LOS calculates LOS / NLOS paths between a Master list of towers, meters, pumps, wells, substations, etc. The Master list contains site characteristics such as transmitting distance, antenna azimuths, antenna beamwidths. The site characteristics are used as filters during the LOS / NLOS process. A single remote point for the analysis is identified by a street address, a latitude / longitude coordinte, or a click on the Google Map. Evaluating each site on the Master list to the Remote site, a filter of link parameters determine which master list sites are possible links to the remote site. Master list sites that fail the link parameter filter test are discarded. The remaining or possible links are then determined to be either LOS or NLOS.

GeoCode LOS can be used by ISP sales representatives to screen new service requests. Reduce technician service trips if LOS does not exist with a new service request.

System engineers can quickly plug-in a new or proposed communications site (the Remote) by latitude / longitude coordinates and know within a few seconds which existing sites on the Master list will provide a LOS path.

Display Selected Path in Goolge Maps

The selected path is automatically displayed in Google Maps.

Display Links in Goolge Maps

Display links between Remote site Master list LOS / NLOS sites. LOS links are displayed in green, NLOS link are red. Mouse click on link marker displays info window.

Antenna Sector Footprints

Single or multiple antenna footprints can be displayed and is as easy as selecting a tower site from the Master List. Identify voids or overlapping of sector antenna coverage.

Antenna Sector Footprints and LOS Predicted Area Covereage Contours

Add LOS coverage contours to visualize the coverage areas of your antennas. Shown on Google Maps.

Overlay of Master List Sites

An overlay of Master list sites. Perimeter polyline drawn around outer edges.

LOS / NLOS / Master Site Overlay

Overlays to display LOS, NLOS, and Master list sites. Perimeter polyline drawn around outer edges. LOS sites are green, NLOS sites are red, and Master list sites are blue.

Path Profile

Path profile expanded view. Right mouse click displays menu to print or save path profile, zoom in on selected area, grid display options, and more!.

LOS / NLOS Report

Display / Print a report of LOS and/or NLOS results. Mouse click the "Open Report" button!. No menus to navigate.

Track Profile Points

A pop-up windows provides tracking and calculating of profile data points: Point coordinates, elevation, distance, clearance, earth curvature, Fresnel zone, etc.

Path Explorer

Path Explorer presents the big picture and allows you to look at the LOS / NLOS paths in greater detail. Raise / lower antennas with a slider. Display up to 2 fixed Fresnel zones. Adjustable Fresnel zones vary from F= 0 to 1250.

Path Explorer files are created by GeoCode LOS. The Path Explorer program is included with GeoCode LOS.
